Day 13 : LAS VEGAS STRIP

Although yesterday was a long day and we just extended it when we arrived in Las Vegas and stayed up until the early hours of the morning touring the city, today we have started the day early. We are going to walk along the Las Vegas Strip from the Luxor Hotel, one of the most famous and filmed avenues in the United States, full of the biggest luxury and boutique Las Vegas hotels and casinos in the world.
In Las Vegas our breakfast will usually be at one of the Starbucks in the Luxor Hotel: muffins and giant coffee to start the day.
We start the day with a walk around the casino of our hotel, amazed at how you can be gambling at 8 o'clock in the morning! We will see that this is common in Las Vegas: at any time and in any place, gambling is present.

Shortly after 9 a.m. we start touring the Las Vegas Strip from the Luxor Hotel.

Luxor Hotel
We stopped at every corner to take photos and we went into every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, although we have to say that we ended up getting lost in all of them because of their immense size. We have a half-plan of the things and hotels we want to see, but we change it all the time, because although we try to always follow the same pavement, we don't succeed, we go from one side to the other, as if we were children in an amusement park. By the way, did you know that the largest number of 4 bedroom suites in Las Vegas are located on the strip?

My feet are starting to take their toll on me and today is the first day that I leave my walking boots behind and wear normal shoes, something that I know I will not do again during the whole trip to the West Coast of the United States.

Las Vegas Strip
Before we know it, it's noon, so it's time to recharge our batteries. We eat in a Mexican restaurant near Caesars Palace, in front of "La Fontana de Trevi". The food is very plentiful and, as usual on this trip, they refill our drinks as soon as the level drops. Caesars Palace is one of the 12 must-visit places in Las Vegas.

After lunch we take a walk around the Caesars Palace hotel, one of the most spectacular hotels on the Strip and one of the must-see places in Las Vegas.

After this visit we go to pick up our tickets for the show Le Rêve, which we booked tickets for at home and are looking forward to seeing. While we are at the Wynn we take the opportunity to tour the hotel, truly luxurious in every corner. You can book tickets here.
We continue all afternoon walking around and seeing casinos, hotels and more casinos and more hotels. This is Las Vegas!

After a few hours we start to think that with 2 and a half days we will have enough to enjoy Las Vegas. It's a funny feeling when the first day we thought we wanted to stay here for a week and now after a few hours, we understand that a couple of days here is more than enough, as in the end you end up getting saturated with so many hotels and casinos.
We continued along the Las Vegas Strip, stopping to see the free fire show at the Mirage Hotel.

After having a coffee inside The Venetian hotel we go to see the Le Rêve show that we had booked from Spain.

Impressive, one of the best shows we have ever seen, without forgetting the Cirque du Soleil shows. Other shows highly recommended and worth booking are: LOVE, KÀ, Mystère, Michael Jackson ONE or Vegas! The Show.

We leave around 9 p.m. and go for dinner. The drive back to our hotel Luxor in Las Vegas, which we found in the list of best Las Vegas suites, endless, we've been walking for 17 hours and it pays off.
