Bali is famous for its exotic landscapes, beautiful vegetation and countless vestiges of the past. Although there is this and more to see, this beautiful Indonesian island is remembered above all for its magnificent sea. Here is a selection of the 10 most beautiful and characteristic beaches in Bali.
1 - Kuta Beach

Particularly hectic and suitable for those who want to have fun, both at night and during the day, it boasts a fair number of bars, restaurants and discos, which alternate along its length.

Scarcely frequented by tourists and surrounded by coconut palms, the beach is known to all for the presence of dolphins, visible to the naked eye early in the morning, a short distance from the coast. At dawn it is possible to hire boats to go and see them up close, and perhaps do some snorkelling among the fish that make up the diverse marine fauna.

A very long beach, at low tide it is possible to watch fragments of coral and shells of all kinds come to the surface. Uncrowded in the morning, it tends to fill up with life towards the evening, when, while eating by candlelight in one of the typical restaurants, you can watch the enchanting sunsets.

The low tide lasts a long time here, so it can be very difficult to go for a swim, but on the other hand, the area is very suitable for learning to surf, given the presence of spectacular waves.

Unknown for quite some time, it has since been targeted by mass tourism, making it a place that is always crowded yes, but still 'dreamy', as its name testifies. Home to some of the best discos in Bali, Dreamland Beach becomes the centre of social life in the surrounding area at night.
